Could a person get struck by Lightning in a tent?

Could a person get struck by lightning and die inside a tent, I don’t want to test it out myself.

The best way to be safe in a lightning storm in to make yourself as small as possible in a clear field away from trees or things that are tall but that will get you soaking wet but it will also minimize your chances to practically zero
